Known Issues

Please let us know if you feel something's missing from the list, and we'll update it as we work to resolve it.

Installation

• If you are experiencing startup or import issues, it often helps to clear your temporary resources to reset Arkio or remove Arkio before installing the latest version (best to back up your scenes to the Arkio Cloud, as this will remove your saved files on your device).

UX

• Mixed Reality features are only accessible on Meta Quest hardware.
• Hands and Meta avatars are only visible on Meta Quest and Meta Horizon PC link mode.
• Some modeling features are missing or not working as expected in the 2D version of Arkio.

Meetings

• When experiencing problems in a meeting, the host can duplicate the current scene to reload it for all participants, which will fix most issues.

Modeling

When you encounter modeling issues in Arkio, you can undo the last operation and retry it. If you have problems loading or editing a scene you worked on, you can restore a scene from history.

• Shapes can jump around when using the move or edit tools if multiple shapes are nearby.
• Child shapes may move unexpectedly when editing the face of a parent shape.
• When moving or editing shapes, only the parent geometry is checked for collisions with other shapes.
• Possible tessellation issues cause some faces of shapes to be displayed incorrectly.
• Arkio’s primitive shapes can't intersect (for now).

Updates

Arkio 2.2.1 This release focuses on the AI Camera workflow, making it easier to generate high-quality results with less setup, while also delivering several workflow enhancements and interoperability fixes.
