Love this app. I am trying to physically walk a whole floor instead of teleporting and the model opacity drops to 25% ish. I tried turning off the boundary and locking my position. Is there a setting to stop this from doing that? I am in an open 50,000 sq/ft warehouse.

We are working with viewing our models in AR. I have a few questions.

I know you can ‘lock’ the movement of the model by using the lock icon on your left wrist. Every now and then it seems to get unlocked. Perhaps it happens when we go into 1st person mode.

I’m sure it’s a simple solution, but I can’t for the life of me import an OBJ file with the MTL file. I have tried both cloud import and directly putting them in the device, either both files separately or in a zipped file. Whatever I do, only the OBJ imports.

Hello, I’m loving Arkio! I have a doubt: When I import a scene from Unity it comes without the baked map! The textures come without the shadows created in Unity! Is there any way to resolve this?

What are these cyan cylinders that are floating around, and how can I remove them? My moving pointer is snapped on them, so it’s difficult to move around them.

Hey there, I have exported an OBJ file from Sketchup and brought it into Arkio via the cloud, however the axis seems to have flipped. The x or y axis seems to be the Z axis with the OBJ file coming in sideways. Is there a way to override the axis of an imported OBJ?

Hello, I have found virtually no documentation about how texturing works. As far as I understand, you just upload a texture file with your model and it applies it. Is this limited to a single texture channel? Can we do bumps or reflectance? Is there a better workflow?

I have a 360° cam and I did some environment domes in Twinmotion or in Blender. When projecting the 360° image on the inside of the dome and it’s big enough, it fits the "real environment" to set your architecture in real places.

I’m trying to export a Revit file to Arkio for the first time and I’m having trouble. A message pops up saying: “There was an error while trying to run the Arkio Export command. Could not load type…”. Anything I can do? Also, I’m working with linked files.

When using Arkio on Mac I cannot change the size of a side to something specific. In VR you edit the side, click on the current size and a head-up numpad appears which you can use to input the correct numbers. On Mac, the same display appears but I seem to be unable to provide the numbers.

In Sketchup Pro 2022, I’m using the Arkio plugin to export files to Arkio. However, when I select “Export to Arkio” I get the error message “Failed to export model for unknown reason!” What am I missing?
