### Staying in the loop with Groups

Another community site tip incoming! A great organization feature with Discourse is the [groups](http://community.arkio.is/g). We’ve been utilizing groups in Discourse as a way to:

- Organize our users
- Send out notifications for specific types of posts
- Have a feed of that group's posts across a site, e.g., [Arkio Team](http://community.arkio.is/g/Team/activity/posts)
