Converting arkio to revit 2025

Hi… I am currently using revit 2025 and I manage to import revit to arkio. But the 1st attempt to import arkio to revit doesn’t open and the 2nd one didn’t create any file at all. I am currently using educational version. The revit was directly downloaded from Autodesk. Is there any problem with using this educational version?

Arkio on 3d, walkthrough floors & above design

Hi…I’ve been trying to find videos about the walkthroughs. Like I want to import a 3D from Revit that I created a walkthrough; I don’t know if Arkio can do the same as walking from 1st to 2nd floor via stairs. Has anyone tried any mechanical or electrical system being done on Arkio?

@theredmage, sorry for the delay in getting back to ya! We had to pick at this edge condition a bit more, but a solution has (potentially) come to life! We are suspecting that the desktop version of Arkio you have might have been installed through the Meta Quest desktop app, which is not updating correctly.

Importing .BIMX .FBX file? to use with Oculus 2

Hello and welcome to the community @Ripe! Don’t forget to say hello! Jeez, that’s a tough file to jump into as a non-architect. ‘.bimx’ and ‘.fbx’ are not supported in Arkio, but it’s somewhat close. If you can convert those to ‘.obj’ or ‘.gltf’ you will be good to go!

@Colin_Jones, welcome to the community! This is a tough one to explain since there are a few ways to approach modeling topography. Both ways would work. One thing that is somewhat hidden is the green table can be edited like a regular Arkio geometry.

Another Friday and another Pro Tip! This time we’re wrapping up this week with a quick guide on how to start an Arkio meeting. Meetings are a quick way to connect your virtual space with your team, whether they are right by your side or many time zones away!

Locking position with anchors in mixed reality

Something I wanted to draw attention to is a common issue that most people encounter with mixed reality, which is incorrect floor height/scale. If you feel like your model is much smaller than it should be or maybe the floor height isn’t aligning to where you're standing, then you will want to follow specific guidelines.
